This program offers intensive therapy, structured therapeutic activities, and consistent predictable routines in a nurturing and supportive environment. Children attending this therapeutic program also receive an education in a full-time emotional support classroom. The clinical staff joins with a team of special education teachers to address behavioral and emotional problems, to teach healthy and socially acceptable behavior and prepare for transition back to school. A variety of services are available to each child depending on individual needs and psychiatric recommendation.
This program is available for boys and girls ages 5 to 15 at our center at 1615 East Elm Street in Scranton. Transportation to and from home is provided throughout Lackawanna County.
This program operates 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, from 9am-3pm. The program continues to run during daytime hours throughout the summer.
Referrals can be made by family, school or primary care physician to the Admissions Department
