Pennsylvania Adoption Exchange (PAE) - is a program of the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. PAE is a resource for adoption information pertaining to search and reunion, subsidy and the adoption process. PAE connects families who to adopt children waiting for a permanent home through an on-line "Photo Album". PAE offers information as to upcoming Pennsylvania adoption related conference and trainings.
Pennsylvania Youth Advisory Board - The Pennsylvania Youth Advisory Board (YAB) is made up of youth who are currently in substitute care or have been in care. The purpose of the YAB is to educate, advocate, and bring about positive change in the substitute care system. Our goal is to represent the voice of older youth in the system and work with others for positive change.
Pennsylvania State Resource Family Association (PSRFA) - is a statewide association dedicated to addressing the needs and concerns of foster parents, foster children and child placement agencies in Pennsylvania. Founded in 1974, the PSRFA represents parents and professionals who work in the field of foster care thoughout the Commonwealth. By providing technical assistance, PSRFA encourages the development of local foster parent associations so that issues relating to foster care can be positively addressed at the local level. PSRFA is working to enhance the image of foster parents in Pennsylvania and to inform the public about all aspects of foster care.
