Friendship House offers therapy and medication management services for children who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties, have been traumatized by loss, abuse and neglect, and children who have witnessed violence.

Outpatient services offer an opportunity for non-intrusive counseling to help the child and family to focus on realistic goals and objectives, which reduces symptoms and stressors and can improve daily functioning without the need for further mental health intervention.  In order to provide the very best care, we provide a thorough assessment at intake which includes an evaluation by a licensed psychiatrist. Therapy is provided by credentialed mental health professionals, and treatment plans are supervised by a psychiatrist.

Outpatient Services are available at our centers at:
1615 East Elm Street, Scranton,
1509 Maple Street, Scranton, and
190 Delaware Street, Honesdale.

Although hours may vary, generally appointments are scheduled between 7:30 am to 5 pm with some availability for later evening or weekend sessions.
