Friendship House provides a broad spectrum of services to children and families in Eastern Pennsylvania. Friendship House endorses a program philosophy of collaborative service delivery to children and their families based on six core principles established by the PA Children and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP). Our programs incorporate a child centered, family focused, community based, multi-system, least restrictive/least intrusive and culturally competent approach to services.
Our dedicated staff will meet with each child and family to determine which programs would be most appropriate to meet the child’s individual needs.
Friendship House embraces the Sanctuary® model and is working towards certification with the Sanctuary® Leadership Development Institute, a world leader in the field of trauma focused care. The Sanctuary model of organizational change creates a safe environment where emotional and psychological healing can occur.
Creating Sanctuary is more than just a philosophy. Every day, in every program we offer, we seek to build a safe and healing environment for everyone in our programs.
